🌺 Lest We Forget 🌺

Seend Parish's close-knit community answered the call to arms with courage and selflessness, during both the First and Second World Wars. The sons, brothers, and fathers left their homes to serve King and Country.

🇬🇧 Twenty Four men sacrificed their lives during WWI, and Seven during WWII. Their names, etched into history, are now solemnly commemorated on the War Memorial Cross in the grounds of Holy Cross Church, Seend, alongside a Roll of Honour within the church.

We remember their bravery, sacrifice, and honour the greatest generation.
