Hello one and all! I am Hayley Bell, new to this stunning village. I am delighted to be the new Parish Clerk for Seend. I have had a full and comprehensive hand over from Chris Strickland. A little about me, until we meet in person. I am born and bread in Wiltshire. I have worked in a number of local councils across our county, over the last 26 years. I have a deep passion for community engagement and a strong commitment to help maintain a parish we can all be proud of!
I am looking forward to meeting you all, and working closely with councillors, and volunteers to foster a welcoming, and collaborative, village. My aim is to support the Councillors, who all volunteer and give up their time to ensure Seend is represented at Wiltshire Council and funds are allocated fairly, to enable the village infrastructure to be maintained or improved as needed. We aim to be engaging and responsive, so that the parish council can work to deliver what is important to you our community. This helping to build a special place that is not just lived in, but truly loved.
I warmly encourage residents to attend and take part in parish council meetings your voice matters.
If you are interested in volunteering or getting more involved in community life, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Let us all work together to make Seend the best it can be.
