I write in connection with your request for information dated 27/08/25 concerning accidents at Bell Hill in Seend.
I am required by the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to handle all requests in a manner that is blind as to the identity and motives of the requestor. Any information released as a response to a request is regarded as being published and therefore in the public domain without caveat.

Your request for information has now been considered and I am able to respond as follows.

You wrote (and our response):
how many accidents have been reported at Bell Hill and in Seend in the last 5 years.
1 collision in the last 5 years.

****Please note, the data is for injury only collisions****
How many speeding tickets have been issued in the village in the last 5 years.

Wiltshire Police have witnessed 82 speeders over a total of 32 visits to the village since enforcement began on 19/12/2023.

****Please note this data is related to Speed Enforcement incidents and cannot reflect any work carried out by police officers****.

I am satisfied that all the relevant information has been passed to me and been considered in the light of your request within the time constraints applicable under the legislation.
